What are you favorite activities (hobbies, sports, etc.) ?

One of my aspirations is to become a Novelist, so two of my hobbies involve reading and writing fiction. I enjoy a wide variety literature. My favourites include fantasy novels (ie. Skulduggery Pleasant Series), Japanese Manga (ie. Naruto) and even Science Fiction Graphic Novels (ie. Marvel Comics).
Furthermore, having competed in an Ultra White Collar Boxing (UWCB) event to raise money for Cancer Research UK, I developed a love for boxing and continued to practice the sport.

According to you, what is your main character trait ?

My main character trait would be that I’m patient. Being a model requires a lot of waiting. I don’t just mean at castings or at shoots, I also mean waiting to get to the point in your career that you wish to be. Getting the big job isn’t something that always happens straight away, no matter how hard you’ve been working. This can be applied to all pursuits of any dream. You have to put the work in (sometimes without being paid for it) and be patient in the faith that you have done the best that you could with the lemons that life threw at you.

What is your seduction asset and what do like best about you ?

My main seduction asset is my smile. In my younger years, being an introvert meant that I struggled to make friends on the playground. As I grew older, however, I learned to never forget to wear my smile, no matter how hard life got. I think a smile can have an incredibly positive impact on the world around you and I’ve noticed that people are more drawn to that than other attractive attributes.

Main qualities ?

o Ambitious: I would like to achieve many things and I’ve had to develop a certain level of determination in order to fulfill that desire. While attaining my Masters in International Politics only two years ago, I also set out to become a freelance model (working with brands such as Walkers / Guiness / DHENZE), a freelance journalist (I created a series of feature articles based on London’s up-and-coming music artists) and finish writing my two ongoing Science Fiction novels.
o Interpersonal: One of the qualities that I pride myself on is not judging people, even if I don’t understand what they are trying to show to the world. Being a writer, I’ve come to understand that everyone has a story. Those stories are all beautiful in their own unique way but you could never know that unless they get a chance to be told.

Biggest flaws ?

o Stubborn: Being ambitious has its own setbacks. One of them is having a vision and not allowing anyone to get in the way of the path I’ve set out for myself. Thus, being a team player can at most times prove to be difficult and it’s very ask for me to ask for help.
o Dreamer: I am definitely a big dreamer at heart and as wonderful as it is having my head in the clouds, this can be a major handicap in realising those dreams. I need to remember to stay grounded and also, not have too much on my plate. While trying to keep up in the pursuit of my goals, I sometimes lose sight of the people in my life that love and support for me.

What is the ideal profile of « the love of your life » ?

This answer would most likely have been different years ago but I would have to say someone that I could be myself with. This, above all else, is something I’ve found to be extremely important when setting out to share your life with someone.

What are your main motivations to participate at this contest ?

I, like many others in the country, feel saddened at the United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union. Having lived in France for 11 years and having German heritage, I feel that my roots extend further than the borders of my country. So, when I discovered that I could represent England in this contest, I was over the moon. My main motivation to participate is to show that when we all come together, we are more than a plethora of trade agreements and regulations, we can create so much more. Whether it be in the arts, a wonderful contest or even just long-lasting friendships, we can still come together in other ways.

What would be the final successful realization of your dreams ?

I’ve made plans to write quite a few Science-Fiction novels. I would say the successful realization of my dreams would not only to have these written and published, but also inspire young people just as J.K. Rowling and Derek Landy inspired me when I was growing up.

Do you have a particular talent ? If yes, give us some details.

The talent that I would like to showcase in this contest is my writing. Now, I understand that this is a rather unorthodox talent to use in a performance on stage. So, what I plan to do is a mix of Slam Poetry and Rap.

What is the position of your country in relation to Europe ? What can you say in order to value it ?

I believe England to be in a strange position in Europe at the moment. With everything that has gone on these past few years, I don’t think that changes the multitude of things that we still share. Looking at our history and our values, I believe that we still have so much to offer each other.

Which other precisions could be useful to help us know better your personality ?

I am both an introvert and extrovert. I read somewhere that this is called being an ambivert. I can be very sociable, I love going out and meeting new people or sharing new experiences with old friends. I’ve based my careers around this. However, I also really love spending time on my own. I’ve always loved reading, watching television series and most of all writing. This can sometimes seem oxymoronic to some people and in the past and I’ve lost myself trying to fit into an image that is more understandable to them. In the end, I’ve always strived to be me. I might not achieve all my goals but I know that I will always be proud of myself for doing just that.

Which is your idea of the MISTER EUROPE-EURONATIONS

I believe that Mister Europe is a title that someone could use to become a role model and make a positive impact on the world around him. Being mixed-race and even living in a foreign country, I’ve always felt different and sometimes out of place. I think in this day and age, it’s really easy for a people to get lost. We have so many options now and these options give us more and more freedom to be who we want to be. I have a lot of role models such as Lil Wayne (Rapper) or Naruto (Japanese Manga character), who taught me to be me unapolagetically. If I was to be Mister Europe, I would use my position to encourage people to be whoever they need to be and pursue whatever dreams they need to pursue.
